1. Try loading a CD.

Does the CD load?

YES - Go to step 2.

NO - Go to CD does not load.

2. Insert a CD to see if the symptom can be duplicated.

Does the CD play?

YES - Operation is normal.

NO - Go to step 3.

3. Insert another CD.

Does the CD play?

YES - The original CD is faulty.

NO - Replace the audio unit.
